Of all the science fiction movies ever made, “Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan” shines as one of the best ever. Beloved by Star Trek fans and voted to be the best Star Trek movie ever made, “Wrath of Khan” brings adventure and excitement into the Star Trek franchise. With career-building work by director Nicholas Meyer and composer James Horner, this 23rd century adventure will leave you breathless.

Join me and guest Bryce Erwin fromĀ Taverncast as we talk about our experiences watching the film, and how the film continues to thrill us, even twenty-eight years later.

For this episode, we’ll be using the Director’s Cut DVD, pictured here. Set your DVD on pause just as the movie starts, and press PLAY after the intro (timecode: 6:21).

I just finished watching Star Trek II along with the commentary Mike and Bryce did, and I absolutely loved it. Its freaking brilliant! I can’t wait till the next one so, I can get the movie prepped and listen to the commentary that I want to hear. This is like the kind of comments that you would hear with your friends about it. I cant say enough how much I liked this.
